These sweet white buds come from wild-growing Camellia Assamica Dehongensis varietal. It is  a sub-varietal of camellia that grows in the tropical area of Dehing and Lincang in southwestern Yunnan. 
 
The flavor is fresh and a little fruity, somewhat similar to a white tea but with more complex flavor. It brews whitish and clear, with a hint of pine needle in the aroma.
